High clouds will move in from the south, but there will also be some sunny spells in between. The sun will shine most frequently in the northern and eastern parts of the region.
The weak high will continue to dominate the weather.
More unstable weather on Wednesday
On Wednesday the clouds will increase and there may be some rain or snow in the second half of the day. Snowline between 700 and 1000 m, locally also at lower altitudes.
On Christmas Day, the clouds will clear and it will be partly sunny.
St Stephen's Day will continue with plenty of sunshine.
Bright sunshine is also expected on Saturday.
